Myers Elementary strives to provide the most positive, caring learning environment for all of our PreK - 3rd grade students. Five years ago we were selected as a Phase 4 Literacy First School. All teachers went through intensive Literacy First reading training. Literacy First training is provided to any teacher that is chosen to join our excellent team of teachers. Our Literacy First Resource Specialist provides on the job training to our new teachers, as well as continued training and support for the rest of our team. This excellent reading instruction provides both large group and grade level flex grouping to meet each individual student's instructional need.
